Pipe Welding

Our highly trained teachers can help prepare you for a new career or a change in career. In a newly constructed facility, you can prepare yourself for the future with hands-on training in the metal fabrication industry. Graduates have acquired employment with companies in the areas of aerospace, train repairs, sanitary food equipment, customized bike building, steel fabrication and many other areas, while others go on to start their own business.

If there is a sufficient amount of applicants, the Pipe Welding course will start on April 27, 2009. This daytime course will end in August.We will have a one week shut down in July. The next course will begin in January 2010 and will be offered at night.

Programme Objectives
To enable students to acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to perform a strong and smooth weld on pipes of various materials, understanding standards, and reading plans.
Course Content
You will learn pipe classifications, interpreting standards, oxygen cutting techniques, welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum pipes using both SMAW and GTAW processes.
