Pipe Welding

Our highly trained teachers can help prepare you for a new career or a change in career. In a newly constructed facility, you can prepare yourself for the future with hands-on training in the metal fabrication industry. Graduates have acquired employment with companies in the areas of aerospace, train repairs, sanitary food equipment, customized bike building, steel fabrication and many other areas, while others go on to start their own business.

The Pipe Welding course starts on April 28, 2008. This is a 60- hour course being offered in the day time fromĀ 8:30am-3:00pm.This course will finish at the end of August. This course will have a one week shut down in July.

Program Objectives
To enable students to acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to perform a strong and smooth weld on pipes of various materials, understanding standards, and reading plans.
Course Content
You will learn pipe classifications, interpreting standards, oxygen cutting techniques, welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum pipes using both SMAW and GTAW processes.
Program Description

Total Hours: 600
Total Credits: 120
15 hours = 1 credit
