Residential and Commercial Drafting

Job prospects for draft persons are excellent because there is such a demand. Due to a robust economy, there are more projects on the table than was the case a few years ago. This programme is for you if you enjoy working with numbers, geometry, mechanics, and technology and if you like calculating, observing, and analyzing.

Programme Objectives
To enable students to acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to produce drawings quickly and accurately, using common drafting instruments and a computerized work station (CAD).
Course Content

You will learn how to prepare a complete set of Architectural Working Drawings that could be used by contractors, city hall, and architects. Computer Assisted Drawing application in architecture, structural steel, electrical plans and commercial building drawings
