Programme Objectives
To enable students to acquire the knowledge, and skills and attitudes required
to perform tasks in both the traditional and automated offices. To develop
competencies required to perform accounting tasks, to communicate verbally and
in writing in the workforce and to apply the principles, rules and methods
essential to the practice of the occupation.
Course Content
You will learn bookkeeping, electronic spreadsheets, basic word processing, business correspondence,
automated
accounting, end-of-period and year-end tasks, income tax returns
and advanced bookkeeping.
