The NOVA Career Centre has now a distinct building with the addition of the Phase III wing, host for our new RV Maintenance and Repair programme. Our state-of-the-art facilities enable our students to have access to the latest technologies in every trade.
We are the Provincial Centre Of Expertise for Vocational Training in Welding.
NOVA Hosts Senior Citizens
NOVA has been honored with the hosting of computer classes for our Chateauguay senior citizens. A partnership with the St-Willibrord Community Centre mothership, our facilities were suggested and offered to the group handled by the Chateauguay English Community Network. It has been a wonderful occasion to meet our fellow citizens.
The Administrative Assistant lab is used two evenings a week, where different topics are shown to the students (word processing, spreadsheets, Internet,...). The volunteer teachers are also using the newly installed SmartBoards to help them in their teaching.
The students were also treated to a personal tour by the Centre Director. It was a real treat to see our senior citizens appreciating the installations!
